IMPACT DESIGN & MEASUREMENT
Our impact measurement system ensures transparency, accountability, and effectiveness while driving continuous improvement and informing strategic planning. By quantifying outcomes, we maximise our ability to create positive change and improve well-being for individuals and communities, and for the environment.
Going beyond financial metrics, we track real-world changes brought about by our investments. Quantifying and analysing each project's social and environmental impact allows us to continuously optimise strategies for maximum benefit. We have built upon existing impact measurement methodologies to create a proprietary system that ensures the accuracy and timeliness of the data gathered and analysed.
Leveraging core technology partnerships within The Farm consortium, we collect a broad and deep selection of data, transmitted in near real-time directly from the field, regardless of a project's operating context, ensuring richness in the dataset.
The data we collect holds value beyond the management of our own projects, as it can be used to improve practice within and across sectors. By sharing best practices for achieving positive social and environmental outcomes, we hope to see replication of proven methodologies to increase impact.
Measuring social impact also provides critical evidence to drive policy and systems change. By generating data on root causes, intervention effectiveness, and outcomes achieved, The Farm and her partners can advocate for policy reforms, allocate resources effectively, and catalyse broader systemic changes needed for lasting social and environmental impact.
