IMPACT TARGETS
IMPACT TARGETS
The Farm will publish an Annual Impact Report that will present impact data from across The Farm consortium. The report will be transparent about the impact measurement framework that has been adopted and the metrics that have been produced. It will highlight areas where we have made a positive impact and areas where there is need for improvement; ruthless self-examination must be a hallmark of our work.
The impact measurement process will be an iterative one, and we expect our practices to refine and improve year-on-year. We will share best practices as we develop them and will gratefully explore initiatives and techniques developed by our friends and partners in the impact arena. Our goal is to create a robust and accountable impact measurement process that not only shows the positive effects of our work, but also allows us to continuously improve and adapt.
One of the key frameworks that will inform our measurement methodology is the Sustainable Development Goals Agenda (SDGs) set by the United Nations. These 17 goals cover a range of issues such as poverty, climate change, and gender equality. The Agenda provides both strategy and tactics on how humanity can move towards peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future. By aligning our projects with these goals, we can ensure that our work has a meaningful and measurable impact towards creating a more sustainable world; these global targets will be an important influence on our strategy and operations.
