YEAR OF THE GREAT STORM

Truth and Reconciliation in South Africa

The Year of the Great Storm is based on the true story of the life and death of American Fulbright Scholar, Amy Biehl. It is set in South Africa in the febrile year preceding Nelson Mandela's election as president, an election that followed decades of brutal apartheid rule.

The story follows her parents - grappling with the loss of their daughter - as they head to South Africa. Against all odds - their journey - along with that of their daughter's assailants - becomes one of reconciliation and forgiveness. This is the incredible true story of South Africa’s confrontation with race, of a trauma that affected an entire nation, and the extraordinary humanity that allowed those affected to moving forward.

MAJESTIC

LOVE SCARS

A Mystical Interracial Love Story

Love Scars is a modern, mystical interracial love story set in Harlem, which asks the eternal question: 'How do you know if you're truly with your soulmate?’

FRIENDSHIP PARK

Rejected, Addicted, Connected and Redeemed

Based on a true story. Two people at the end of their tether stumble into each other in this moving and unusual love story.

A Mexican cleaning woman, hands and heart calloused from a lifetime's toil, meets an ornery American man who drinks too much. These two people - whom the world has forgotten - find each other when they most need it. With the demons of addiction flitting about, they support each other towards a longed-for but frightening redemption.

This is a tale that shows that it is never too late to change, to be forgiven, to be loved, to be heard and to be seen.
