Media Farm Productions documentaries tell real life stories that explore critical issues of our day. We exhort, inspire, warn and even alarm audiences, compelling them to take action to improve the world, and bring about transformational change.

We combine the artistry and idealism of documentary filmmaking with decades-long experience in distribution and marketing, reaching the greatest number of viewers and achieving the broadest impact.

IN DEVELOPMENT/ PRODUCTION

WALK THE CONGO

A 3000-Mile Walk Along The Mighty River Congo

A feature length documentary and docuseries chronicling the first ever expedition to walk the Congo River from source to sea with Explorer Toby Storie-Pugh and a diverse team. We will also co-produce a series in XR introducing the wonder and beauty of the DRC, its people, wildlife and communities, in never-before captured fully immersive virtual and augmented reality.

An expedition like no other, lasting an entire year, Walk the Congo will tell a story of human courage, suffering and opportunity. Viewers will see inside one of the most challenging countries on our planet, witness the struggles and tensions that arise as the team strives to make history—and be inspired by the stories of the Congolese people they meet along the way.

The world has known for decades of the conflict and violence in this region, exceedingly rich in mineral assets. However, the Walk the Congo Expedition team sets out with the intent to engage with the wonder and beauty of this misunderstood region.

NASERIAN AFRICA

Innovative Impact in the Maasai Mara

Set against the magnificent backdrop of the Maasai Mara, this inspiring film will follow the incredible development journey of one village in Kenya. It will show how a community, working hand-in-hand with an international development agency, can create something extraordinary. The Maasai people have a proud and fiercely protected heritage, one that has been increasingly challenged by the pressures of modern life, and the film will show their struggle to balance traditional practices with forward-thinking initiatives.

The pressure is on the development team to make this project a true benchmark for sustainable development and to create a model that has the potential to be deployed around Kenya, Africa and the world.
