AKASHINGA MAASAI WILDLIFE SAFARI
Groundbreaking Eco-Safaris in Kenya
Akashinga Maasai Wildlife Safari is thrilled to welcome clients to the Kenyan savannah, and to introduce them to the animals and people that call her plains home. There are few more magical places on earth.
Akashinga Maasai is proud to be a Kenyan-formed and operated company offering a variety of uniquely curated, authentic safaris.
At the heart of the Akashinga Maasai vision is the belief that business should drive positive impact for the world. The company's Maasai Head Guide, Jackson Rumpe Rarin, is able to leverage his skills and experience to provide for his family and community and to be a bridge to the philanthropic resources needed for more profound community development.
MAASAI-LED SAFARIS
The Akashinga Maasai Wildlife Safari is staffed by experienced and accredited Maasai safari guides who showcase the wonder of our surroundings to clients while helping to build an independent and prosperous future for Kenya.
The company is designed to create a sustainable source of income for its staff and for the wider Maasai community, a key element of the Naserian Foundation’s strategy to support the sustainable development of rural communities. Our safaris also promote conservation because when people experience the wonders of nature, they become nature’s greatest defenders.
AKASHINGA MAASAI LODGE
World-class Ecolodge in the Maasai Mara National Reserve.
Akashinga Maasai is currently developing a lodge within the hallowed boundaries of the Maasai Mara National Reserve.
The lodge will provide an extraordinary base from which to explore these unique lands and observe the animals that call them home. It will be designed by a leading African architect, with the greatest of respect to the local design traditions. While providing a luxury retreat for its guests, the lodge will will develop practices to minimise its impact on the environment.
The lodge will be a hub for conservation efforts, a space where leaders from both the public and private sectors can meet and develop strategies to protect our precious wildlife.
